- Is my microphone audio recorded or stored?
- No. All audio processing happens entirely in your browser. No audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. The microphone stream is only used for the live visualization.
- Why is there no sound showing on the waveform?
- Make sure your microphone is not muted, properly connected, and selected as the input device. Check your operating system's audio input settings. You may also need to speak louder or move closer to the microphone.
- Why is the volume meter always high even when it's quiet?
- Background noise, fan noise, or a high microphone gain setting can cause elevated levels. Try reducing your microphone sensitivity in your operating system's sound settings, or use a noise-canceling microphone.
- Can I test my microphone on mobile?
- Yes. Most mobile browsers support microphone access. You will need to grant permission when prompted. On iOS, this works in Safari; on Android, it works in Chrome and most browsers.
