CheckRig is a free browser-based diagnostic toolkit. We are committed to protecting your privacy. All hardware tests run entirely in your browser — no data is collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

Data We Do Not Collect

• Hardware information (keyboard, mouse, monitor, GPU, CPU)
• Microphone or camera recordings
• Gamepad or controller data
• Personal information or account data
• Browsing history or usage patterns

Browser Permissions

Some tools require browser permissions (microphone, camera). These permissions are requested only when you actively use the relevant tool. Permission is never requested automatically. All data accessed through these permissions stays in your browser and is discarded when you leave the page or stop the test.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services may be used:

• Google AdSense: May display ads and use cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads through Google's ad settings.
• IP Lookup API: The Internet Connection Info tool fetches your public IP address from a third-party API. This is the only tool that makes an external data request.
• Cloudflare Speed Test: The Internet Speed Test tool uses Cloudflare's infrastructure to measure connection speed.

Cookies

CheckRig uses localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode). No tracking cookies are set by this site. Third-party services (like Google AdSense) may set their own cookies.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no data to request, modify, or delete. For questions about third-party data handling, refer to their respective privacy policies.
